About this Hybrid Strain
If you’re a peanut butter fan, then Peanut Butter Breath might become one of your favorite strains. Its terpene profile gives it a nutty and earthy taste when you exhale, as if you’ve just savored some peanuts freshly dug right out of the soil. Don’t be deceived by its smell which is a bit more on the herbal side, this strain didn’t get its name from thin air.

The genetics of Peanut Butter Breath stem from combining Do-Si-Dos and Mendobreath, which all can hint at how potent its peanut-like taste will be.
Though this strain is classified as a 50/50 hybrid, meaning it supposedly induces balanced effects of both sativas and indicas, many consumers have experienced a stronger indica sensation that make them feel lethargic and hungry. It’s a good idea to keep some snacks handy when smoking this strain, and plenty to drink since it can produce dry mouth. Because its consumers say it causes heavy relaxation throughout the body, so they indicate they prefer Peanut Butter Breath closer towards the evening or at night when they don’t have any more important tasks to complete and they’re ready to unwind for the day. If you decide to try it and you happen to be with others while smoking this strain, you might experience some extra laughter as it can make things seemingly more entertaining.
Peanut Butter Breath has been used by some to help reduce hangover symptoms, so if you wake up in the morning with nausea or a headache and don’t have any immediate plans, Peanut Butter Breath may potentially help.
After you open up your package of Peanut Butter Breath and indulge in its aroma, you’ll notice that a well-cultivated batch offers thin nugs that are light in color, with just a few deep orange pistils poking out here and there. The ideal amount of trichomes should make it look like its covered in frost.
Of all the characteristics that will expose a stoner, weed breath isn’t high on the list. Red or glazed eyes, smelly clothes and a deep, dude-like giggle at 90 percent of any conversation give me away much earlier than skunky panting, but weed breath is still one of those internal markers that makes us worry and overthink: “If I can still taste weed in my mouth, then everyone around me must know how baked I am.”
Are these stoned fears logical? Most of the time, no — but stoned logic isn’t supposed to be logical, especially after you’ve smoked a racy strain.
Peanut Butter Breath, a funky hybrid from ThugPug Genetics, won’t make your breath taste like peanut butter, nor will it cause you to incessantly lick the roof of your mouth. But it won’t make you overthink small decisions or wander about town stoned and disoriented, either. The mix of Do-Si-Dos and Mendo Breath has quickly become a fixture in my afternoon rotation, keeping me warm and stress-free during a week of trying to coordinate coronavirus tests among family members for a COVID-free Thanksgiving. Even with fewer than eight people, it’s more stressful than I anticipated.

Growing Peanut Butter Breath
Peanut Butter Breath is a better strain choice for more experienced growers. Humidity levels must be strictly controlled, as PBB has a low tolerance to mold.
Although Peanut Butter Breath is a balanced hybrid, the plants take their physical characteristics more from the sativa side. PBB plants will tower over other varieties in your garden.

The strain is not particularly suited to SOG growing techniques. Peanut Butter Breath plants are rather delicate and can react badly to too much training.
Despite its sensitive nature, Peanut Butter Breath offers unique rewards for cannabis growers with a bit more experience.

Picked up some medical grade Peanut Butter at Fogtown Flower Shop in Toronto. Nice earthy, smooth taste. Hit with a nice head high, while soothing the body. Felt relaxed, but not lethargic, less anxious and present in what I was doing. Highly recommend. Happy ‘n safe travels!
