Boiling grinder in milk

How to Make THC Milk and Clean Your Grinder Simultaneously!

Hey guys, I’m dry for a few days already and it might last another few days but today I feel like trying something I’ve ready up here a sometime ago.

Boiling my grinder with milk. The thing is, I have no clue how to process and not fail the boiling part, should I let the milk boil until there is bubbles? I have a metal grinder but the “glass” part on top seems made of plastic, should I put that part in it? Also, I read that I should do this after digesting, any suggestions? Can I add some Nesquick without denying the dank effects? Any other tips that are willing to get me a get buzz is welcome!

Kind regards to all Ents!

PS: I’ve done researchs already but they are not specific enough to me. Also sorry for the grammar/spelling mistakes! English isn’t my main language.

Are you one of those stoners that gets violently ill every time you look inside your grinder and think about all those little marijuana nugget particles (MNP) that go to waste and get lost for all eternity in the Black Hole of Vanished Pot?

I mean, hopefully you’re already collecting the kief in the bottom chamber of your grinder and saving that up for future use, but we’re talking about those stubborn, microscopic little MNP’s that won’t fall out of the grinder – no matter how hard you try. You can of course clean your grinder with some alcohol and cotton swabs, but you’ll probably just be throwing the swabs in the trash anyway, so that kind of defeats the purpose of cleaning the little micro nugs out.

In this short article, we explain how to not only clean the piss out of your grinder, but how to maximize every last MNP in there for potent, THC-infused consumption.

Enjoy.

How to clean your grinder… And make THC-infused milk at the same time

The good news here is that you only need three simple “materials” to carry out this brilliant little DIY weed hack:

  • A dirty weed grinder
  • A pot (for cooking)
  • Milk

If you’re clever, you’ve probably already figured out the process here: what you’re going to be doing is pouring a little milk in the pot, bringing it to a light boil, tossing the grinder inside, and letting it boil.

You don’t want to bring the milk to too gnarly of a boil because this will cause the water inside to evaporate too quickly, and you could end up with a gooey, sticky, unusable grinder. Just bring it to a very mild boil, and keep a watchful eye on it so that it doesn’t get out of control.

For optimal results, you’ll want to let your grinder bubble in the milk bath for about 20 minutes. This will not only help clean the piece to a pristine shine, but will also help decarboxylate and dissolve the THC into the milk for an optimized yield.

Here’s a video of the great folks at Weedness YouTube for putting the process into action:

Final Thoughts: Cleaning your grinder and making THC milk at the same time

To be clear, you’re (probably) not going to get super duper stoned by drinking your kief-infused milk from the grinder boiling process. In fact, you may not get high at all (after all, we’re not talking about a great deal of THC here).

Simply put, the main reason we like this weed hack is because we hate seeing weed go to waste. Grinders do a great job of collecting kief (and we’ve seen people collect A LOT of kief), but like we said, there’s always that little amount that you just can’t seem to get out of there without mopping it up and throwing it away on a cotton swab.

What you choose to do with this weed hack is up to you; clean your grinder and drink THC-infused milk, or don’t. Just don’t forget to rinse the grinder off in warm water after it takes its little bubbling milk bath.

TIP: milk has a tendency to burn if boiled at too high a temp. I would suggest a low heat, long and steady boil (45 min should be fine) and yes anything you add (with fat) like Nesquick or butter will only help the THC to bond. Hope it helps.
